Austin’s largest seafood festival returns for an in-person celebration this year, March 5th and 6th at the Carson Creek Ranch. Located minutes away from the bustling downtown district, Carson Creek’s scenic, 58-acre grounds serve as the perfect backdrop for live music and authentic Cajun cuisine. Additional entertainment includes sampling of craft beer, photo booths, interactive games, and over 10,000 pounds of hot boiled crawfish, garlic-buttered crab, and fresh shrimp. Fredericksburg Spring Crawfish & Music Festival 

This all-you-can-eat crawfish event will take place at Bankersmith in Fredericksburg on Saturday, March 5th, beginning at noon. The festival will feature unlimited platters of crawfish, live music, free nonalcoholic beverages, and a private VIP area located inside the Dance Hall. Guests can snag an all-access “Crawfish VIP” pass for $45.

3rd Annual Rockport Crawfish Cook-Off & Tasting 

Held along East Market Street in the city of Rockport, the 3rd Annual Crawfish Cookoff is scheduled for Friday March 18th and Saturday, March 19th. Hosted by the SR Boil House, this crawfish festival proclaims to be the largest in the Coastal Bend, having served 15,000 pounds of crawfish to more than 10,000 attendees in 2021 alone. This year’s event will feature live music and an open mic, complimenting a menu of crawfish, sausage, street corn and more. All-you-can-eat admission prices begin at $35.00 per person.

3rd Annual Rockport Crawfish Cook-Off & Tasting

4th Annual Crawfish Kickback 

Hosted at the Spinner’s Bar & Grill in Austin, the 4th Annual Crawfish Kickback will take place Saturday, March 19th from 2 to 8pm. Guests can enjoy over 500 pounds of chef-prepared crawfish seasoned in true Louisiana style, at a venue boasting ample seating and a spacious patio. Admission is free, including multiple DJ performances, specialty cocktails, games and more. Guests are encouraged to RSVP in advance, as seating is first come first serve.

4th Annual Crawfish Kickback

Cajun Heritage Fest 2022

Dedicated to “keeping it Cajun”, the Cajun Heritage Fest returns to Port Arthur Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd at the Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center. The festival promotes the shared history of Southeast Texas and Louisiana through the celebration of music and southern cuisine. Musical performances will begin at 11am, alongside a variety of Cajun food vendors, beer, crawfish eating contest and more. The event is presented by the Southeast Texas Arts Council in collaboration with the City of Port Arthur, Cajun Sounds Internet Radio, Texas Commission on the Arts, the Union Pacific Railroad, and the Foundation for Southeast Texas. General admission fees begin at $25 per person.
