Texas Cider

My love for cider knows no limits – I appreciate a cold bottle of the stuff at any time of day. If you want to get a liking for this wonderful beverage, then Texas is the place to be. Pay a visit to one or a few of these cideries for a refreshing plunge into the Texas cider scene.

Houston Cider Company

Here you can find lip-smackingly good ciders at prices that are hard to beat, Houston Cider Co. is one of my favorite boozy spots in the Houston area. If you’re all for variety, then you’ll be more than happy here – this company offers some pretty wild small-batch ciders, with flavors such as their Cherry & Calamansi and Sweet Cherry Pie. What’s more, all the ingredients they use are sourced from fine whole food producers based either here in the Lone Star State or elsewhere in the US.

Hye Cider Company

Bringing out the potential of Highway 290 on Hye, Hye Cider Company is a craft beverage production hotspot that’s truly thriving. Owners Brian, Cassandra and Travis brought together their various brewing experiences to set up their own cider joint in this boozy hotspot. The area is known for its wide array of craft breweries, wineries, and distilleries, with the Hye Cider Company joining the group back in 2016. I’m a big fan of their Hye Hops Earthy and Floral, which offers a light grassy flavor and refreshingly floral notes – a great cider to warm up those cheeks!
