Phil's Crawfish 1st Annual Crawfish Cookoff
Join Phil's Crawfish for their 1st Annual Crawfish Cookoff, where various styles of crawfish will be boiled for your tasting pleasure!
This family-friendly event will have activities like a bounce house for kids, cornhole, and volleyball courts. A DJ will be playing fun tunes throughout the day. You'll have the chance to sample crawfish dishes cooked by different teams and vote for your favorite. Mimosa Fest 2023
Get ready for Mimosa Festâ„¢, a boozy, bougie, brunchy day party for all the mimosa and brunch enthusiasts out there! Taking place at Wanderlust Wine Co. in Austin, TX on Sunday, May 21, 2023, this event promises a fun-filled day with music, food trucks, vendors, and, of course, mimosas!
The doors open at 11:45 am, and all ticket holders will be treated to a welcome mimosa from Ohza. From 12 pm to 1 pm, enjoy an hour of bottomless mimosas and lite bites/snacks. You'll also receive a swag bag, a Mimosa Fest t-shirt (for the first 100 registrants), two drink tickets, and a "thank you for coming" drink from Ohza as you leave.
Ticket prices range from $100 (regular, April 1-May 20) to $150 (bottomless, May 4-May 21), with onsite tickets available for $125 on May 21. Various bars and beverage stations will serve mimosas, prosecco/champagne, wine, water, and soda (sold separately). Food vendors and food trucks will be present, offering a diverse range of delicious options.

First Annual Pizza Eating Competition at The Upside Pub
Show off your pizza-eating skills and support a good cause at The Upside Pub's Fastest Pizza Eater contest! In collaboration with Eureka Heights Brewery and Pink's Pizza, this event aims to raise funds for Kids' Meals Inc. Join in on the fun and compete to become Houston's Fastest Pizza Eater. Contestants will receive a 12" cheese pizza, and the participant who finishes their entire pizza the fastest will be awarded a trophy, a prize pack, and the coveted title.
Your ticket includes registration for the competition and a refreshing Eureka Heights beer to enjoy after the contest. Additionally, earlier in the day, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, there will be a lunch-packing activity for Kids' Meals on The Upside Pub's patio. This wild game and wine pairing night, presented by Johnson Development Associates, Inc., is a special gathering for women in the Dallas Chapter and the Dallas community. Enjoy delectable wild game hors d'oeuvres crafted by Chef Luke Keller, along with expert wine pairings guided by a certified sommelier from Times Ten Cellars. Connect with other women in the Dallas Chapter of Stewards of the Wild and indulge in a unique culinary experience.
Chef Luke Keller, known for his culinary expertise and experience at prestigious establishments in Dallas, will showcase his skill in creating award-winning appetizers and hors d'oeuvres using wild game. As he presents each dish, the sommelier will pair it with the perfect wine, enhancing the flavors and overall dining experience.
Times Ten Cellars, located in the high desert mountains near Alpine, Texas, offers a superb selection of Spanish and Rhone-inspired wines. The Cathedral Mountain Vineyard, planted in mineral-rich volcanic soil, produces powerful and savory wines that will complement the wild game creations.
The menu for the evening includes tantalizing dishes such as cured venison loin crostini with butternut squash puree and arugula pesto, mini pistachio crusted meatballs with tzatziki sauce, braised bear tacos with napa ginger slaw, mango relish, and tomatillo salsa, and hog links in puff pastry with house-made mostarda. Each course will be paired with a carefully selected wine, providing an educational and delightful tasting experience.

Edge Coffeehouse Makers Market
Join us in celebrating our 10th anniversary with a fantastic event filled with vendors, craft demonstrations, delicious food, lively music, and, of course, plenty of coffee! Save the date for this Saturday and don't miss out on the festivities!
The Makers Market will open at 10 am, featuring a variety of talented vendors showcasing their crafts. At 11 am, Survivors Studio will kick off the first demonstration by teaching card making. Throughout the day, there will be hourly opportunity giveaways for attendees to participate in.
As the clock strikes 12 pm, live music by the Cherie Morgan Group will fill the courtyard, creating a vibrant atmosphere. At the same time, Complete Custom Organizing will provide a demonstration on creating wooden decor pieces.
At 1 pm, Jacob Steed Pottery will showcase the art of pottery throwing in a captivating demonstration. Enjoy the rhythm of live music by Jennifer Lalonde at 2 pm.

Fredericksburg Grape Stomp and Wine Bash
