Are there any Pre Convention sessions this year? This year we have several Pre-Convention activities and workshops happening on Sunday the 6th of November. The Dick Warren Memorial Golf Competition will be held at the beautiful Hawks Creek Golf club situated close to downtown. The cost is $135 to play and there are limited spots. This cost does not include rental clubs. The Cornell Food Safety Preconvention Seminar will be held at the convention center between 8.15am and 3.00pm. The cost is $49.00. The First-Timers Boot Camp is a brand-new series of workshops that we are hosting this year for those either very new to the industry, or those yet to open their businesses.
What is your refund policy? The refund schedule is as follows: From September 17th till October 1st, 25% of the ticket price will be refunded From October 1st there will be no refunds available for ticket purchases.
Who should attend the Expo? Attendance is open to anyone directly involved in the frozen dessert.
Are children permitted on the show floor? Children under the age of 16 are not permitted on the trade show floor at any time. This includes infants and toddlers, strollers, and carriers. Children ages 16 to 18 are permitted only if accompanied by an adult. This trade show standard is strictly enforced to help foster a professional, business-to- business environment for our attendees and exhibitors.
How do I make hotel arrangements? Rooms at this year's hotel - The Omni Fort Worth - are at the special rate of $199 a night. This rate is available for several days before and after the event to take advantage of the sights and activities in and around Fort Worth. What is the dress code? Dress code is business casual.
What is the theme of this year's Supplier Party? On Tuesday evening, the Exhibitors at the event put on a party to support the Bryce Thompson scholarship fund. This years event is Western Themed. Remember to pack your boots, hats, chaps, spurs and other cowboy gear for a great night of bull riding, boot scooting, auctioneering and general rowdiness.

Greek Food Festival of Dallas

Judge Pass: -Entry into the festival -10 food sampling vouchers (you will exchange these vouchers for samples of the contestants food to taste and vote). After 6pm food vendors may start selling food if they are out of samples. So get there early so you can try as many of the vendors food as possible! Bringing together some of the industry's favorite chefs and bartenders for a stellar 'mashup' of a food, drink, art, music and bit of friendly competition in the lush garden of Project Row Houses.

The evening will feature stellar oxtail creations fromeach chef, battling it out for smack talking rights.Chefs are challenged to create their most inventive and tasty bites.
COCKTAIL COMPETITION
Bartenders are competing with the best cocktail entry. The bar is a working competition. Efficiency, service, style, preparedness and above all, a damn good cocktail will be the focus.

One of the World Food Championships’ most anticipated ancillary competitions is coming back in 2022. The Fire Woman competition pits four of America’s most award-winning lady pitmasters going head-to-head in a no electricity battle to determine the ultimate female GrillMaster!
The Fire Women pitmasters will be supplied with a grill, charcoal, and a single rule: impress the judges with your best BBQ dish in 90 minutes. Join us to see who will rise from the smoke to take home the Fire Woman title and cash prize.

Want to learn how to judge some of the world’s best food? Over a span of five days, 1,000 competitors will create over 8,000 dishes at the World Food Championships...all of which need to be judged by foodies like YOU!!
But first, you’ll need to be certified through our custom food judging class. It’s an interactive event where you’ll be trained by a WFC professional on the E.A.T.™ methodology –– which is WFC’s scoring system that enables judges to rank any dish based on three key criteria: Execution, Appearance and Taste.
Only judges who become E.A.T.™ certified will be eligible to enjoy judging privileges at WFC. Don't miss your chance to become an E.A.T.™ certified judge!
