SAVE THE DATE! The Bay City Main Street program is hosting the 7th Annual "Wild Game and Wine CAMOFEST" on JANUARY 28, 2023 from noon to 6 pm in Historic Downtown Bay City. Cooking “guides” will provide locally caught samples of wild game, fish and fowl and food inspired by Texas wines. Festival goers will enjoy samples of wine from local wineries, live entertainment, shopping with festival specialty vendors, Texas beer and wine and activities for the kids. The "welcome mat" will be out at as the many retail merchants of Downtown Bay City open their doors with discounts and specials. CAMOFEST highlights our one of a kind Downtown Bay City and Matagorda County as the “gateway to the great outdoors.”

Lunar New Year 2023: Celebrating the Year of the Rabbit
2023 is the Year of the Rabbit — a kind, energetic, and resilient animal that represents patience and treating others with respect. Join Asia Society Texas in welcoming the Year of the Rabbit with performances, art and craft activities, and food inspired by Lunar New Year traditions across Asia! Dance to the beat of traditional lion dancers as they perform outside on our festival lawn. Learn about Lunar New Year traditions around the world through all-ages crafts, activities, and performances. A limited quantity of red envelopes will also be given to children. This event is FREE and open to the public; RSVPs are requested for planning purposes. Food and drink will be available for sale. Music and dance performances by Huaxing Arts Group Houston are ticketed.

Huaxing Arts Group joins Asia Society Texas to present a collection of Chinese music and dance! From modern interpretations of traditional tunes to classic folk dances, the performances highlight a variety of performers and dance styles. Huaxing Arts Group Houston is a civic organization of Chinese Americans in the Greater Houston Area. The association has served the greater community through volunteerism, service, and cultural exchange with a patriotic focus on strengthening the Chinese American community and its relationship with fellow citizens.

Year of the Rabbit Hoppy Hour/Social
It's a bunny parent's favorite time of year! The Year of the Rabbit!
-Hoppy Hour Pen:
Pack your buns (they must be neutered/spayed and vaccinated) and come down to the arboretum's Hummingbird room where we will have a Hoppy Hour pen. Your buns can hop around and meet other buns in a neutral setting!
-Crafts:
Join our junior volunteers at the crafts table, where they will be teaching everyone how to make cute bunny origami!
-Bonding Sessions:
Are you having trouble bonding your two fixed rabbits? Bring them to the bonding area where we will have bonding sessions for buns, and you can learn tips and tricks from our bunny bonding expert!
-Bunny Buttique:
Bunny themed items, Bunny toys, Supplies, and Limited edition HRR Year of The Rabbit Merch! You won't be able to resist all the cute things we have available to purchase! All proceeds go towards microchips, spay/neuter, vaccines, and medical emergencies.
-Bunny Spa:
Does your bun need a nail trim? Scent glands cleaned? Brushed? Bring your bun(s) to our Spa booth for a relaxing and refreshing spa session. We only charge a $10 donation per bun!
-Food and Drinks:
Have some food and drinks while hanging out other bunny people and enjoy speaking to others about our most favorite thing in the world, BUNNIES!
We are very excited about this event, and we would love to meet everyone and answer any questions about our rescue and what this wonderful Year of the Rabbit has in store!
