Gear Up For U-Pick Season With These 10 Texan Farms!

Fruit picking in my opinion, is the No.1 family spring activity. Nothing can beat a day at the farm, with your kids, plucking fresh, juicy fruit and bonding over adorable farm animals. Spring is upon us and it’s the perfect time to skip the supermarket chain and go directly to the source for everything berries.

But if you still need more convincing on why you should hit a U-pick farm near you, here are some reasons.

  1. Support local business

  2. Learn about local produce

  3. Make new friends

  4. Enjoy fresh fruit

  5. Discover the joy of picking

  6. Get back to nature

After Uri, your support towards Texan farms may be invaluable in many ways. Although many farms have had to push back their U-pick dates, here is a good list of Texan farms offering U-pick visit. We always advise you to contact the owners beforehand, so you aren’t disappointed.
