Ingredients

Chicken Thighs

Bone in and skin on chicken thighs offer rich flavor and juiciness that is hard to beat. One of the best things about chicken thighs is that they are relatively inexpensive, making them an excellent option for budget-minded cooks.

Olive oil

Olive oil is a versatile ingredient that can be used in various ways. Olive oil is an excellent option if you're looking to add flavor to your food or create a healthy coating for chicken. Not only does it add a delicious flavor to your dish, but it also provides several health benefits.

Butter

While it may seem like a small thing, adding Butter to the chicken before cooking can really help to create a golden brown color and add some extra moisture. The key is to ensure that the Butter is well-coated on the chicken before putting it in the oven. This will help to ensure that the chicken cooks evenly and comes out looking and tasting great.

Garlic

Its pungent flavor adds depth to everything from pasta dishes to roasted chicken.

Rosemary

This versatile herb can be used fresh or dried and pairs well with poultry, lamb, and beef. Rosemary's earthy flavor adds depth to any dish, and its fragrant aroma is sure to please any dinner guest.

Avoid the crowds and shop for rosemary online from the comfort of your home!

Salt & Pepper

Cooking chicken can be a bit of a balancing act - too much seasoning, and it can be overwhelming, but not enough, and it can be bland. One traditional way to season chicken is to salt and pepper it before cooking. This simple method helps to bring out the natural flavors of the chicken while also providing a foundation for more complex seasonings.

Sweet Potatoes and Granny Smith Apples

These ingredients can be cut into uniform slices or chunks, making them easy to roast in the same pan as the chicken. The sweetness of the potatoes pairs perfectly with the tartness of the apples, and both hold up well in the heat without becoming mushy.

Tips

  1. For those looking to add chicken to their next dish, boneless, skinless thighs, chicken leg quarters, or chicken breasts are all great options.

  2. Olive oil helps the chicken and vegetables crisp, while Butter helps the chicken brown and keeps it moist.

  3. You may add other vegetables like brussels sprouts, broccoli, green beans, and sliced red onion. The possibilities for side vegetables are endless!
