Spring is just around the corner, and Texas is already blooming with seasonal events for you and your close ones to enjoy. Whether you’re hoping to take in the beauty of nature or satisfy that pesky sweet tooth, our list of spring events is sure to have something for everyone.

Fredericksburg Bluebonnet Festival

Eye-catching floral displays are set to come together with a host of top-notch Texas vendors and musicians for a fun-filled celebration at the third annual Fredericksburg Bluebonnet Festival. The Bankermith Dance Hall and Saloon is due to be decked out in 1,500 bluebonnets – the beloved official flower of the Lone Star State

Visitors are encouraged to take in views of colorful flowers while enjoying live music and local vendors offering an array of food and drinks. Bluebonnet seeds and plants will also be available for purchase. Don’t forget to bring the kids along to meet the resident goats of Bankersmith. The event will take place on Saturday, April 16th from noon to 6pm. General admission begins at $20 per person, granting access to the festival program, music schedule, vendors, and kids’ activities.

Alexander’s Craft Cocktails & Kitchen: Around the World Dinner Series

Located in Salado, Texas, Alexander’s Craft Cocktails & Kitchen is nestled in the heart of a bustling community offering everything from golfing and fishing to antique shopping and fine dining. If all that isn’t enough to keep you busy, Alexander’s offers a special “Around the World Dinner Series”, highlighting cuisine from a variety of global cultures and culinary traditions.

For the month of April, the destination is South Korea: diners should expect a mouthwatering tour of cultural staples such as Napa cabbage kimchi (how long does kimchi last?), soy-marinated wagyu, and black sesame mochi. The event will take place Thursday, April 14th from 6:30 to 9:30pm, with an admission price of $84.95 per diner. Booking ends April 13th, so get cracking! It’s a culinary voyage you won’t want to miss.

Guests aged 21 and over can enjoy a day filled with delicious food and wine from over 35 local vendors, while browsing a diverse showcase of inspiring Texan art.

Vendors shall include Pirani Prints, Calloway Studios, Queen of Wixatx, Soul Matter Studio, and more. The event will take place on Saturday, April 9th from noon to 6pm at the Wanderlust Wine Collective in Austin. The event is free to attend—however, guests are encouraged to book in advance.

The Wine and Chocolate Bash at Grapetown

Celebrate a beloved comestible duo at the Wine and Chocolate Bash in Grapetown, located at Grapetown Vineyard. Featuring a large tasting area overlooking the Fredericksburg Polo Club, this bash offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing experience for the eyes as well as the taste buds, right in the heart of Texas Hill Country.

Both general admission and the VIP pass grant complimentary access to the Grapetown Winery and Farm tour, which includes a free hayride and the chance to get up close and personal with camels, zebras, goats, donkeys, and more. The event is kid and pet friendly, so make sure to bring the whole family. Passes begin at just $20 a person, including full access to the music schedule, vendors, and children’s program. Admission is capped to a limited number of guests, so secure your tickets now before they sell out. The party kicks off at 3pm on Saturday, March 26th, with festivities running until 6pm.
