Discover > Best Of Texas > 7 Great Take-Out Deals in Fort Worth During Covid-19
We're officially a few weeks into this shelter-at-home situation and I think we're getting pretty used to it by now. The thing I miss the most is probably shopping. I love a good deal as much as the next person - okay probably more than the next person. So, I've rounded up some of the best restaurant and deli deals available to us right now, for pickup and delivery. COVID-19 might have me staying at home, but it will not prune my bargain hunting abilities! Here are 7 of the best deals in Fort Worth, from eateries that use quality ingredients.
Rancho Loma Vineyards
Who doesn’t miss spending a leisurely afternoon in the Rancho Loma Tasting Room, enjoying one of their specialized, artisanal charcuterie boards, paired perfectly with their premium Texas wines? The good news is that we can still enjoy their boards and wines in the comfort of our homes, and create our own little tasting experience with family and friends. They’re running special offers that make it even more enticing. Charcuterie (What wine goes well with charcuterie?) boards are $20. If you order a charcuterie board and wine combo you get 20% off your total order. If you’re not in the mood for food, the wine can be ordered on its own at a 15% discount. You’ll also receive a coupon for a 25% discount on your next order. Aside from their dedicated wine and charcuterie specials, RLV is running regular specials where they team up with different restaurants in the area to bring us food and wine combos, so keep an eye on their social media pages. You can find more information about their pages here. They’re open for takeout and curbside delivery. If you call ahead they’ll bring your order out to your vehicle for a contactless exchange. They’re also offering free delivery in Southside, Fort Worth. I can’t think of a better way to shelter at home.
Call them on (817) 349 9030. Rancho Loma Vineyards is situated at 411 S. Main, Fort Worth.
Rahr and Sons Brewing Co
We all love Rahr canned beers. Nothing beats an ice-cold Rahr’s original, Rahr’s Blonde, Adios Pantalones - or any of them, actually. Canned beer is better for the beer, better for the environment, takes up less space in the refrigerator, and they get cold quickly. The Rahr family started making beer in America in 1847 and while we can’t visit them for a tasting and tour of the brewery, the next best thing is bringing the beer home. They're offering beer-to-go sales at $5 for a six-pack and $20 for a case. Customers who order beer-to-go get a souvenir "GOOD LUCK" glass to take home - while stocks last. The selection on offer may change based on availability, so give them a call before you go to avoid disappointment. Calling ahead is not required though, just head down to the south side of downtown Fort Worth, pull up, place your order from the car and they'll load it for you. Let's help our local breweries.
Call them on (817) 810 9266. Rahr and Sons Brewing Co is situated at 701 Galveston Ave, Fort Worth for curbside delivery and pickup.
Pearl Snap Kolaches
Kolaches have become a part of our heritage- a truly Texan alternative to bagels (how long do bagels last?) and doughnuts. It's hard to decide if we should have them for breakfast or dinner. With the specials offered at Pearl Snap Kolaches, we might as well have them for both. They're selling 'Kolaches by the dozen' which comprises any 12 of their signature kolaches (savory or sweet), served in a hard-sided box for $33. They're also offering burgers, deli sandwiches, and bread loaves for $5. Their entire menu is available and you can order online. You can call ahead for pick up and they also deliver to the center-city of Fort Worth. They appreciate advance calls for larger orders. There aren't many past times more satisfying than starting the day with a quality kolache and some Pearl Snap gourmet, roasted, organic coffee while reading the morning news.
Call them on (817) 233 8899. Pearl Snap Kolaches has two locations, situated at 2743 S Hulen Street, and 4006 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth.
Funky Picnic Brewery & Café
Funky Picnic Brewery creates classic style beers, as well as 'off-the-wall' brews, on-site. They also have a full kitchen that serves mouthwatering house-made artisan sandwiches, sides, and desserts. We're saddened that we can't enjoy their cool picnic vibes with them, but what we can do is recreate the perfect picnic at home. Whether it's inside or outside in the garden, as long as the beer's cold and the food's good, we'll make a funky day of it. They're offering beer-to-go in 32-oz crowlers. They're also offering 10% off on all take-out food orders. Order online and use the code, "SOCIALDISTANCING," to get10% off your order. Their full menu is available and they're open from 7 am - 7 pm daily for curbside delivery and home delivery. With discount beers and food on offer, there's no reason not to have a picnic and add a little bit of adventure to the day. And don't forget to tag them in your picnic photos.

Avoca Coffee Roasters
There's no doubt that Avoca Coffee Roasters serves some of the best coffee in Fort Worth. They employ the seed-to-cup philosophy, using beans that are roasted in-house by their skilled Roasters. How do we get our hands on it when we're sheltering at home? Well, if we're willing to venture out and do a quick, contactless exchange then we're in luck. Both their stores are open daily for curbside pickup and in-store carry out. Alas, our customary cup of liquid velvet can still be enjoyed during COVID-19! They're running a special on all wine and beer at a 25% discount. So, we can grab our favorite cuppa, a few bottles of great-value wines, and some locally-roasted coffee beans (how long do coffee beans last?) - all in one stop. You can place orders online on their website, or in-store.
