The market is open every Saturday where there are 10-15 stalls with a variety of arts, crafts, produce, and even homemade processed food. The last time I visited, I bought produce for the Apples and Mescune salad I was planning and also a killer jar of homemade salsa from Your Health & Therapy Gifts.

The Upper Valley Artist and Farmers Market is one of the newcomers when it comes to the farmers market in El Paso. This 60-vendor Sunday market is open year-round from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. When you visit, be sure to bring extra recyclable bags. I made the mistake of bringing only one tote bag for my visit and I missed out on other items that could have been great with my recipes for preserves.

Walking in, I was greeted by a wide spread of different food and non-food items. The vendors, from the surrounding communities, either produced or crafted the items on display at each stall. What’s great about this market is that local producers consistently showcase the gastronomic and artistic highlights of El Paso.

Established in 2014, the Burleson Farmers Market has grown to offer a wide variety of food and non-food items that will be the delight of any weekend shopper. This exciting weekend market boasts 40 vendors who all hail from Texan communities. Dropped by on a Sunday afternoon and got the freshest string beans that went well with my beef and beans stir-fry!
