El Paso is A-Buzz with the Sun City Craft Beer Festival

If you’re a beer-lover and can spare a day or two in El Paso, Texas from the 21st to the 22nd of May then you’re up for some pretty exciting craft beer picks and a ton of other buzz-inducing activities at the Sun City Craft Beer (SCCB) festival 2022.

If you would just look up Google Maps, you’ll find that El Paso and the area surrounding Sun City are home to over 86 breweries, taprooms, and restaurants that serve up craft beer. Because of this sheer number alone, Sun City can easily be considered one of the religious stops for Texans who have taken a fancy to the craft that is brewing and, of course, knock back a few premium high-quality Texan brews.

Originally founded years ago by Nahum Avila, he emphasizes how the SCCB festival has grown so much through the years because of the people behind it.

We want everyone to know that this festival doesn’t belong to us but to our people that have made it possible over the years,’ Nahum said.

Because of this mindset of an open community experience amongst lovers of craft beer, you can expect a wide offering of as many as 170 craft beers and specialty ciders. Local craft breweries like the Wild Acre Brewing with their T-Hawk IPA or the South Californian brewery Stone Brewing Co. and their Stone Scorpion IPA that's available year-round will be there for you to enjoy. Of course, apart from all the beer, one can expect beer lounges, Sunday Funday, beer gardens, lots of food-to-beer matches, and a heck of a lot more so come with a nagging thirst.
