Michael Ruibal started with just a 10’x20’ rented space at the Dallas Farmers’ Market selling bedding plants in 1984. Bit by bit, year after year, the family expanded the operations of Ruibal’s Plants of Texas. Today, they have over 130 greenhouses covering nearly thirty acres!
The market carries fresh produce, eggs, local, honey, and more. The Garden and Gift shop, also located within Rosemeade, completes the setup and makes it a one-stop-shop.

Saint Michael’s Farmers Market
A quick survey of Saint Michael’s Farmers Market’s reputation on the web should convince you to try this North Dallas farmers market. The Sweet Harvest — Dulce Cosecha in Spanish — thrives amidst what could have been very devastating circumstances. When the Dallas Farmers Market decided to downsize its vendors in 2015, four vendors chose to come together and meet the adversity head-on.

They banded and established Sweet Harvest in June 2015. With their years of experience, the vendors set up shop across the Dallas Farmers Market in a beautiful red shed. And from there, the rest is history!
