There’s so much more to know in the process of “juicing” that majority of people do not know about. It’s much more than just gathering all the nutritious ingredients you probably can think of, throwing them in a blender (or much more expensive equipment), and finally pushing the button to mix them all together.
It honestly requires a lot of research and effort from your end. Lucky for us all, specifically those located within San Antonio, Farm to Juice exists to save the day! They make fresh-pressed raw juice made with fruits and vegetables, healthy cleansing shots, and food that are good for you. And they actually taste good — which is the real deal!
The Juicing Journey
Utilizing every available resource, Robert established Farm to Juice in January of 2013. It was during this time that there were only a few juice bars in San Antonio. Robert is a business owner from Statesboro, Georgia who is passionate about healthy living. He has a Bachelor’s degree in recreation and spent most of his career in hotel management.
Robert has relevant experience in bringing his management, customer service, and corporat skills to the juicing table. The combination of education, experience, and passion for healthy living inspired him to spend countless hours renovating the space, which, now has been rewarding as a labor of love.
Expect to see him at the store during your visit. He is ever ready with a cheerful greeting and lots of stories to tell!
Setting the (Juice) Bar
Farm to Juice sets the bar high among its competitors in the San Antonio market and beyond. The business takes great pride in the way they produce juices using the highest quality juicer and industrial cold press. Farm to Juice guarantees to only serve customers with 100% raw juice without water, sugar, and preservatives.
They have two industrial cold press juicers wherein they can produce more than 60 gallons an hour — this just means you won’t ever have to wait on juice! During your visit, you might as well grab one and immediately go on a juice or a multiple-day cleanse.
Aside from outstanding machinery, Farm to Juice source their produce daily from several different vendors from farmers’ markets. Farm to Juice obtains a majority of its ingredients from B. Catalini, a local family-owned produce company that’s been in business for 100 years!
They make sure to source locally when available and resort to outsourcing only when the local option isn’t readily available. This is done to make sure that their ingredients are certified and guaranteed to be of the highest quality.
Farm to Juice Products
Farm to Juice started with 100% cold press juice and then eventually ventured into smoothies like “nuttin’ butter” and acai bowls like “BWB” made with banana, cinnamon, granola (how long does granola last?), honey, and strawberries. The most fun part is, you can even make your own smoothie and acai bowl with your own choice of ingredients!
A few of their bestsellers include Krazy Kale, Fuji apples, Granny Smith apples, strawberries, red grapes, kale, spinach, and red cabbage. In case you have any questions with regard to their products' healthiness-related concerns and whatnot, you may refer to their FAQ page.
